The new citizen's income will be introduced in two steps, on January 1, 2023 and July 1, 2023. It represents the biggest socio-political reform since the introduction of Hartz 4, and it comes with many modern ideas. It is supposed to give people who receive the citizen's income the opportunity to focus more on qualification, further education and job search. In this movie we show who was involved in this reform, how and why.

Some situations in life simply cannot be practiced. For example, when there's a fire. That's why we made this film with the Berlin fire department, which impressively shows how quickly it can happen when there's a fire at home. Of course, we all hope that nobody ever experiences this in their lives. But we also hope that if it does happen, they will have seen our movie. To ensure that this happens as often as possible, the Berlin fire department uses the film at its own events and at schools. Perhaps we will be able to save a life with our work. And that's a great feeling.
