Energy Recruitment Video

You're driving the energy transition. We're making the film that will win people over to your cause.

Grid expansion, solar power, heat pumps, control rooms: There’s plenty of work, but not enough applicants. A two-minute recruitment video shows what it’s like to work at your company. Filmed right at your facility, featuring your actual employees.

  • Real technicians, female engineers, and apprentices in front of the camera—no models
  • Filmed during normal operations: construction site, control room, wind farm, workshop
  • Edited versions for career pages, job portals, and social media

Basics

What is a recruitment video for the energy industry?

A recruitment video is a short, professionally produced video that gives job seekers a glimpse into your day-to-day work. It’s not a commercial, nor is it a promotional video for investors. It’s a video that answers a single question: Why should I choose to work for you, of all places?

It is needed wherever technology is in use and there is a shortage of workers: at municipal utilities and energy providers, grid operators, plant manufacturers, solar and wind energy companies, maintenance services, and cleantech startups. In other words, almost everywhere in the industry.

What might a film like that look like? On her way to a job site, a technician explains why she switched from the trades to energy technology. In the workshop, the foreman demonstrates how training actually works at your company. In between: the control room early in the morning, a drone shot of the wind farm, and the moment a turbine goes online. We’ve already filmed stories like these for companies such as Ostrom and Gidara Energy.

Specifically

Are you currently looking for a production company for your recruitment video?

Now, briefly, here are the facts. We’ll come to you with a small team; usually, one to two days of filming are enough. Beforehand, we’ll work with you to determine which positions you want to fill and who should speak in the video. You’ll receive a main video lasting 90 to 120 seconds for your careers page, plus short vertical clips for social media and job postings. You’ll receive the first draft within two to three weeks, and one round of revisions is included.

We operate out of Berlin and film throughout Germany, from substations to offshore bases. Safety briefings, protective gear, restricted areas—we’re familiar with them all, and we factor them into our planning.

Let's talk about your job openings.

Tell us who you're looking for and by when. You'll get an honest assessment of whether a film will help you move forward, along with a specific next step.

Posture

Energy recruitment doesn't need to be all glitz and glamour.

Job applicants see right through the staged scenes. Staged handshakes, spotless helmets, slow-motion shots at sunset: None of that works in this industry anymore. Electronics technicians, female engineers, and career changers want to see what everyday life is really like, what technology they’ll be working with, and who they’ll be working alongside.

That’s why we film with your real employees, in a real workplace, without a script in front of them. The result doesn’t look like an ad—it feels like an honest glimpse into the company. That’s exactly why it works: Anyone who applies for a job after watching a video like this knows what they’re getting into and stays longer.
