How much does a corporate film cost in Berlin?
A corporate film from ROCC Film in Berlin costs from €8,000 net of VAT. A film with one shooting day at one location costs €8,000 to €12,000, a film with two to three days and several settings €12,000 to €22,000. Larger productions with three to five days start at €22,000, with no upper limit. Each additional shooting day costs €3,000 to €6,000 net. ROCC Film has produced corporate films from Berlin since 2014.
| Scope | Shooting days | Length | Price net | Typical for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One shooting day, one location | 1 | 60–90 sec | €8,000–12,000 | Documentary films with real employees at your own site, for your website and sales |
| Two to three shooting days, several settings | 2–3 | 90–180 sec | €12,000–22,000 | Companies that want to show several sites, teams or topics in one film |
| Three shooting days or more, scripted | 3–5 | 2–4 min | from €22,000 | Scripted films with actors at several locations, brand films with a story of their own |
All prices are net of VAT, and the top tier names an entry point, not a ceiling, because scope and goal decide the film. You know your fixed price before the shoot, item by item. The tiers apply per film: if several films come out of the same shooting days, as a content package, the budget sits above them.
If your budget is under €8,000, another format often fits better: social media content starts at €3,000, an event film also at €3,000, a product video at €4,000. These formats need fewer shooting days, so they start lower.
What drives the cost of a corporate film
Whether you call it a corporate film, an image film or a corporate video, the items behind the price are the same. Each line appears in your quote as its own item, and all ranges are net. You will find the lines from travel to hair and make-up in our cost calculator for video productions as well, while shooting day and music come from our price list. What you do not need does not appear in the quote. The ranges apply to a film with two to three shooting days, with one shooting day the cost calculator comes in a little lower, beyond that a little higher. Add only the social media versions, for example, and you add €1,500 to €3,000, not a new tier. Shooting days come first because they move the price most.
| Factor | What it means | Surcharge net |
|---|---|---|
| Additional shooting day | Crew and equipment for one more day on set, with all the footage it brings | €3,000–6,000 |
| Travel outside Berlin | Travel, hotel and transport for the crew at your site | €1,500–3,000 |
| Voice-over | A voice for the film, casting and rights included | €1,200–1,500 |
| Actors | Performers for scripted films, buyout included | €2,000–5,000 |
| Drone | Aerial shots of your grounds, buildings or the landscape | €500–1,000 |
| Motion graphics | Animated graphics, figures and explanatory sequences within the film | €2,000–5,000 |
| Social media versions | Short cuts and vertical format for LinkedIn, Instagram and your other channels | €1,500–3,000 |
| Hair and make-up | Styling on set for everyone in front of the camera | €750–1,500 |
| Music | Licensed stock music, as a flat fee in every quote | €100 |

Three delivered corporate films
How much does a corporate film cost per minute?
For filmed productions, ROCC Film has no price per minute. The effort happens on set and in the edit, not on the timeline. A scripted film with actors, several locations and elaborate lighting needs three to five shooting days, a documentary film with real employees at your own site often needs just one. So the shorter film can be the more expensive one. Length says little about what you get in the end, and even less about whether the film does its job.
The exception is animation. There, every frame is built on a computer, and the effort grows with every minute. An animated explainer video is therefore costed differently from a filmed corporate film. For everything a camera shoots, the concept sets the effort first, and the length follows from it.
More useful than the question of price per minute is the question of purpose: where will the film run, who should it reach, what should happen next? From that, we at ROCC Film derive how many shooting days, which crew and how much editing your project needs. Shooting days are the biggest lever in your budget. For a film with one shooting day at one location, plan on €8,000 to €12,000 net, for one with two to three shooting days on €12,000 to €22,000. Each further day costs €3,000 to €6,000, and that is the number that belongs in your calculation. For a first estimate of your project, use the cost calculator for video productions.
What a corporate film quote has to contain
Every quote from ROCC Film includes concept, the shoot with director, camera, lighting and sound, edit, colour grading, sound design and licensed music. Concept means we settle goal, audience and channels with you before the camera rolls. On top of that come at least three rounds of revisions. Usage rights as standard: non-exclusive, worldwide, online for web and social media, with no time limit. Music is a flat €100. The schedule belongs in the quote too: typically four to six weeks from concept to delivery, up to eight for complex productions.
What is missing from the quote comes back later as an extra. The film industry agrees usage rights by time, territory and media. If you want to show the film on TV, in cinemas or on billboards, ask whether that is in the quote. The same goes for subtitles, an English version and the vertical format: if you fix it before the shoot, we plan for it. Voice-over and actors appear as separate items in the quote, with casting, rights and buyout. If you shoot outside Berlin, travel, hotel and transport for the crew belong in the quote from the start.
You pay 50 percent on commissioning and 50 percent on delivery, and the quote is valid for 30 days. Also settle who gives final approval on your side, because a short approval path saves time and budget. The first call is free. After that you know your price, item by item, before the camera rolls. That way you compare two quotes line by line, not just two totals.
“There is no upper limit with us. Your goal decides how big a film becomes, not our price list.”
