Testimonial video for IBB Institut für Berufliche Bildung A real case shows what your advisory work achieves.
Four people explain how counseling and training paved the way for Farhat Ghrab from Tunisia to the CNC machine at Hilmer GmbH CNC-Technik in Hanover. ROCC Film shot the story for IBB in 2025.
The IBB project: a testimonial video about counseling and training.
IBB Institut für Berufliche Bildung also supports skilled workers from abroad: with counseling and with training that covers the content they still need for the full recognition of their professional qualification. This testimonial video by ROCC Film shows what that looks like in practice, with Farhat Ghrab and his employer, Hilmer GmbH CNC-Technik.
The film features managing director Heike Hilmer-Börner, Farhat Ghrab, Janine Bergmann of the IQ Network Lower Saxony and Julia Michaux-Stander of IBB. Together, their perspectives add up to a story of just under three minutes.
Why this testimonial video needs four voices.
Skilled worker immigration involves many parties. A company is looking for a CNC machinist, a skilled worker wants to work in Germany, and in between lie recognition, counseling and training. Heike Hilmer-Börner says it right at the start of the film: the biggest challenge is everything around it. Several partners work on that part. IBB contributes counseling and suitable training.
That is why the people involved speak for themselves. The employer explains what a CNC machinist is responsible for at her company and how the contact came about: through the Welcome Center Hannover and the IQ Network Lower Saxony. Janine Bergmann of the IQ Network describes how her project brought the parties together and calls it a puzzle. Julia Michaux-Stander of IBB explains how a tailored qualification plan came together from more than 1,000 course modules before Farhat Ghrab had even arrived. And Farhat Ghrab describes what the support means to him.
We shot in Hanover: in the Hilmer GmbH production hall between the CNC machines, at the managing director’s desk and at the flip chart with the IQ Network and IBB. The film combines the conversations with work scenes from the hall.
IBB published the film on its YouTube channel in December 2025. At the end of the film, Farhat Ghrab says:
“I’m proud of what I’m doing now.”
