Recruiting Film Care & Healthcare
Staff shortages in care are not your fault. But reaching the right applicants is up to you. Today, young people associate care with burnout and shift chaos. An honest recruiting film shows what it is really like at your organization: team, tone, attitude, everyday life. No gloss. No advertising speak.
A recruiting film makes your facility, your team and your everyday care work visible. It doesn't replace applicants. It attracts the right ones. Care workers, trainees, qualified professionals and career changers see where they'll end up before they apply. That lowers inhibitions and bad hires.
Care workers recognise sugar-coated images immediately. Smiling models in fresh scrubs, glittering hallways, slow-motion coffee breaks. None of that works. It signals: this is selling, not storytelling.
We film differently. Real wards, real colleagues, real sentences. What remains is a film that shows how you work and with whom. Applicants who recognise themselves in it are the right ones.

Target audiences
If you can't fill open positions for months, it is rarely an ad problem. It is a trust problem. A film helps you where job portals end.
Experienced professionals choose the employer. Show them how you lead before the job interview.
Young people google you and watch TikTok. An honest film beats any vocational-school poster.
They need the most courage. A film that shows everyday life takes away their biggest worry.
Clinics, MVZ, rehabilitation centres. Anyone looking for specialist doctors has to show culture, research and team.
Care and clinic are not a film set. We adapt to your daily routine, never the other way around. Those who have to work, work. Those who want to take part, take part.
Process
Clear stages, clear responsibilities. You know at all times what we are doing and what we need from you.
We listen. Which positions are open, which target audience you want to reach, which message needs to get out.
Walkthrough, conversations with the nursing management and team. We choose protagonists and filming locations together.
Usually one to two shooting days, fitted into your shift schedule. Small team, clear arrangements, no staging of patients.
First version after two to three weeks. One correction loop included. Delivery in all formats for your channels.
The costs depend on concept, shooting days, team size, technology and post-production. We have documented prices and packages transparently. No „it depends“. To the costs
Use cases
A recruiting film is not a one-off. It runs where applicants search, scroll and compare.
Header video or embedded on the job page. The first impression before someone opens the application form.
Indeed, StepStone, kununu. Ads with video are watched significantly longer.
Medi-Karriere, pflegen-online, Hogapage. This is where the industry searches itself.
Internship and training fairs. At the booth, in the presentation, on the tablet during a conversation.
Short cuts for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Meta ads. Many pieces emerge from one shoot.
New colleagues understand the attitude and the team faster. The film keeps working after the application.
Formats
On a careers page, 90 to 120 seconds works best; in the social feed, 15 to 45 seconds. More important than length is the opening: if people don't see a real face and hear a real sentence in the first few seconds, they scroll on. That's why we set the cut lengths before the shoot — one shoot day produces multiple versions for your channels.
90 to 120 seconds. Team, workplace and culture in one piece — the film candidates watch before they click ‘Apply’.
30 to 60 seconds per person. The night nurse, the second-year apprentice, the ward manager. Someone telling their own story convinces more than any slogan.
15 to 45 seconds, cut vertically and subtitled. In the feed, almost everything starts on mute — without subtitles, your message goes unheard.
If you're recruiting internationally, plan for subtitles and an English version from the start. Adding them later is more work and rarely turns out as well.
We have made films for DKMS, BMAS, ADA Health, Medneo and the Verbraucherzentrale. That means: we know how to film people who work under pressure. And when to switch off the camera.

Frequently Asked Questions
A professionally produced video that makes your organization, your team and your everyday working life visible to applicants. It doesn't replace a job ad. It makes it effective.
In nursing, applicants don't decide based on tasks or salary alone. Team, atmosphere and leadership count at least as much. A film shows what a job ad cannot.
It lowers the barrier. Those who have seen you in the film apply more selectively. This saves you interviews with applicants who don't fit anyway.
Real employees, real handovers, real patient situations with consent. Complemented by soundbites on leadership, shift models and further training. No gloss, no stock imagery.
Nursing homes, outpatient care services, clinics, medical care centres (MVZ), rehabilitation centres, social organisations and employers in healthcare with high staffing needs and strong competition for skilled professionals.
A recruiting film targets the concrete filling of open positions. An employer branding film builds long-term perception as an employer. Both formats complement each other. More on this under Employer Branding Film.
