Brief overview

A CEO portrait film puts the leadership personality at the centre. Unlike a classic company film, it shows vision, values and responsibility in one person. The format works on the website, in PR, on LinkedIn, in pitches and in sales – wherever personal impact makes the difference.

What distinguishes a good CEO portrait film

A good CEO portrait film comes across as assured, credible and clear. It doesn't just show statements in front of the camera. It translates personality and leadership style into its own visual language. The result is an appearance that looks professional and stays approachable.

The balance is decisive. Neither stiff nor over-staged. A clear concept, an honest staging, content that fits the role, industry and brand.

If the company as a whole should be told alongside the leader, a corporate film adds the big-picture view to the portrait.

Occasions

When a CEO portrait makes sense

Brand relaunch

New identity, new tonality. The portrait shows who leads the brand today – and what it stands for.

Succession

A change at the top. The portrait builds trust with customers, partners and employees – from day one.

Strategy change

Explain a new direction without a press release. One person, one attitude, one clear message.

Recruiting & Pitches

Anyone who is passionate about a company wants to know who leads it. This applies to new talent as much as to investors.

This is how a person comes across on camera

Hardly anyone feels comfortable in front of the camera straight away. That is normal. Our job: to turn that initial tension into the moment your audience remembers.

We prepare the conversation calmly. We don't film the first take, but the honest one. We build the lighting so that the camera becomes an ally, not an opponent.

The result: a portrait that sounds like you. Not like a script. Not like advertising. Like you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the CEO portrait

A CEO portrait film is a professional video that puts the leadership personality of a company at the centre. It shows attitude, competence, personality and vision in a high-quality cinematic form.

For managing directors, founders, board members and entrepreneurs who want to strengthen their external image and build trust in a targeted way.

On the website, on LinkedIn, in presentations, in PR, in sales and at events. The format makes sense everywhere personal credibility and leadership are meant to become visible.

A company film shows the company in its entirety. A CEO portrait focuses on the person at the top and makes leadership, vision and personality visible. Both formats complement each other – we often produce them in the same shooting block.

It comes across as authentic, professional and clear. It combines strong visual language with credible content and fits the brand, the target audience and the role of the person shown.

For the website, around 60 to 120 seconds works best: long enough for stance and message, short enough that no one drops off. For LinkedIn and social, shorter versions make more sense, usually under a minute and subtitled, since many people watch without sound there. From one shoot day, we produce a long version and short cuts, so you have the right length for every channel.

No, we work with interviews instead of memorized scripts. We align the questions with you before the shoot day, so you know where it's heading and can still speak freely. Memorizing lines and teleprompters tend to make most people stiffer on camera, not better. In the edit, the sentences that really land are the ones that make the cut.

Usually wherever you actually work: in the office, on the production floor, in the studio, or out in the city. Your own location generally tells more about the role and the company than a neutral studio wall, and it costs you less time. We're based in Berlin and shoot at your location too. We figure out which location fits best in the initial consultation.
